The new 2.8.1 version of WordPress had a security hole that could allow comment posters to exploit your site. A new version 2.8.2 is available now that closes this hole.
This is a serious vulnerability. If you are running 2.8.1 we recommend you immediately update to 2.8.2 using auto-update on the Tools -> Upgrade page, or download the new version here.
